Open Question: Moving away from home while still a minor?

My skin is driving me crazy. I had very, very minimal acne as a teen, I am now in my 30's (this started around 23) and my skin is extremly oily, and because of this it gets many large embarassing bumps. I wash my face twice a day with neutragena oil free face wash. I feel like I am only doing it for my health because it does nothing for me. I have tried everything over the counter, as well as dermalogica, and proactive. I do not have health insurance and cannot afford the enormous derm. visit. This is seriously upsetting me because it feels like no matter what i do I can not get this to go away. I feel like this is all people see when they look at me. I also feel like it makes me look like I dont take care of myself because my skin is always so oily, this is embarrassing. What can I do differently? If anyone has a solution I would be greatful.

Please no jabs, as this really is difficult to ask about.

Open Question: Private Health Insurance?

I'm looking into purchasing private health insurance here in the US. I have looked around and I can get it for under 100 a month. I got a quote from Anthem which is 77 a month, 25 copay, 15 dollar prescriptions. This is a new subject for me I'm not quite sure what is available. What health insurance do you have and how much does it cost? Any recommendations?

Open Question: Moving away from home while still a minor?

How difficult is moving away from home when one is still a minor?

Due to family difficulties, there's a great chance that I may be moving away from home before I turn 18.

Before anyone tells me "Don't do it", it's not by my choice. My parents may force me to leave, and while I'd prefer to not move out until I'm of age, I want to be prepared and know what I'd need to do, rather than be caught off guard.

In Canada, do you need your parents permission to get a job?

How about rent/lease an apartment?

What about health insurance? I know Canada has free medical, but how far does this extend? I have asthma, and require inhalers and a few other prescription medications to keep it under control. I do plan to stay in Canada, but would there be any benefits in moving to the States?

I'm very close to the boarder, it would be less than a day of travel if I took a Greyhound to Seattle.

Would it be too complex to move there if I'm not 18?

Would it be harder to attain my asthma medications?
