Open Question: Looking for women to join ttc group?

I was denied health insurance 18 months ago from blue cross, now other companies, like blue shield are emailing me information to apply for their health plans. Should I re-apply or wait it out longer to apply again for another company. i've been overhearing you should wait 2 years and then reapply, help !

Open Question: If I go on unemployment, does my company pay health insurance?

My company has laid me off and is going to pay me unemployment. Does my company have to continue my health insurance, or will I be dropped automatically? If so is there anything I can do other than Cobra for a month until my husband's insurance starts?

Open Question: Is it better to have your health insurance deductions taken out on a pre-tax or post-tax basis?

I am in a low tax bracket (15% I think) and my company offers the choice of having your health insurance payments taken out on a pre- or post-tax basis. I've heard that you pay less money in taxes if you get it taken out on a pre-tax basis, but if you get it taken out on a post-tax basis you get tax-cuts at the end of the year. Is there any truth behind this? Please help. I'm confused.

Open Question: I am pretty sure I have a sinus infection (sinus problems, swollen glands, etc) but how long will it last?

I just quit my job so I don't have health insurance right now. Just wanted to see if a sinus infection was like strep throat, and would go away after awhile? Or will it only get better with medication?
